What is Around the Table? When does it start and end?
Around the Table Cyprus is organized for the first time by Mastercard®, in collaboration with Toposophy, and will take place from October 13 to November 2, 2025. As part of the initiative, 20+ selected restaurants across Cyprus will offer special fixed menus focused on local cuisine and ingredients — exclusively for Mastercard® cardholders, with a 20% discount.
How does the booking process work?
Bookings are made online through the official website: aroundthetable.cy. The Mastercard® cardholder selects a restaurant and menu, chooses a date/time based on availability, fills in their details (including the first 8 digits of their card), and accepts the terms of reservation. Confirmation is sent via email through the i-host booking platform. For support, Toposophy offers phone assistance (Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00) at +30 216 0042200.
I am not a Mastercard® cardholder. Can I make a reservation?
No. Around the Table is exclusively available to Mastercard® cardholders.
Is the reservation confirmed?
Yes, reservations are automatically confirmed by email, subject to restaurant availability.
Is there a reservation fee?
No, the booking process is free. Payment is made at the restaurant using a Mastercard® card at the time of your visit.
What happens if there’s no table available?
If your selected time or date is unavailable, the system will suggest alternative options. You may choose a different slot or try again later.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, cancellations can be made online through the booking platform. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation. In case of no-show or late arrival (more than 30 minutes), the restaurant reserves the right to release the reservation.
How do I get a discount?
The restaurants offer specially created fixed menus at 20% off their original price, exclusively for Mastercard® cardholders.
Are the menus prices per person?
Yes. All fixed menu prices are per person.
Are the dishes individual or shared?
Most dishes are individual, but some may be served as sharing for two. This will be clearly indicated on the restaurant’s menu.
Are vegan options available?
Yes. Each restaurant may include up to one vegan/vegetarian main course. This is optional, but encouraged.
What are the parallel gastronomic experiences?
In addition to the fixed menus, some restaurants may offer unique, interactive culinary events focused on local cuisine and culture. These are held on select dates, for a limited number of guests, and require prepayment.
Is there a social impact connected to Around the Table?
Yes. Through this initiative, Mastercard® supports local gastronomy and small food businesses in Cyprus, promoting the use of local ingredients.
